Carla Pollock enjoys driving her own destiny. She started her career as an accounting manager, internal auditor, and controller of property management companies in the Fort Collins and Denver areas, but when friends and former clients started asking for help with their taxes and books, she just couldn’t say no.
That’s when she decided to start Carla J. Pollock Accounting, Inc. Then in 2010, she partnered with Sandy Hogan, and Pollock Tax & Accounting, LLP, was born. For Carla, this company is all about the people. What she enjoys most is spending time with clients and staff and helping others realize their own dream of owning a business.
Carla earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (concentration in accounting) from Colorado State University. She is also an Enrolled Agent and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
When she’s not meeting with clients or reviewing tax returns, you can find Carla on one of the many Colorado hiking trails as she pursues her goal of hiking all the wilderness areas in the state. She also enjoys biking, reading, attending outdoor music events, and her favorite—spending time with her son Joe and daughter-in-law Lindsey. Someday she hopes to hike in the national parks of Croatia.
